I Consider Myself a Musician

So, I've been playing piano and composing since i was really little, so I figured I'll post some of my favorite music. I'm not sure that I really want to show my identity, so i'll put off posting any of my own things indefinitely :)

So I just saw Yuja Wang play at the PAC here on campus. It was, inspirational to say the least. With a triple encore, it was definitely worth the $5 to see her play.

My eyes always cross when trying to follow her fingers. Someday I'll be like her O.o

Story Time 3

I've been pretty obsessed with Sean. I'll admit that it's bad. I spent the rest of the summer collecting evidence that he may possibly be a homosexual. Here's what i got:

- It's rumored that one of his close friends, John, has said that Sean was bisexual. When asked about it, Sean of course denies that claim, and i never got the chance to ask John. But there is always a little truth in every rumor.

- I'm not going to disregard that night he exposed himself (well, his thighs rofl) to me, and why in the world did he stand so close to me? I'm gonna use it as a sign.

- I'm a believer of Gaydar, and I've asked so many other people, a few gay ones included, and not a single one said that they think he's straight.

- He had this whole breakdown just last weekend because he feels he doesn't belong at our school. I remember when i had that breakdown...

- He went on a streak of accusing other people of being gay. He even did it to Zack. He decided to tell someone that he thought Zack was gay with me. he also accused this kid Chris. So much denial...

- Now while i'm never one to comment on clothing style (I'm not that type of gay man..), Sean has recently changed his. He used to dress like the skater kid he wishes he was. Now, it's tight jeans, button down, and sweater vest; typical NY homosexual dress code. In addition, he also was thinking about getting his ear pierced. Le sigh, it'd look so cute on him..

- He always wants to drink while he's around me. I mean, he knows i like him, so i don't know what his motives are, but I'm totally ok with getting drunk with him. Last time, he called me his brother. It was adorable :)

I'm totally aware that I may be over-interpreting the situation, but I don't really care, i'm head over heels for him.

Story Time 2

So after my little Dunkin' Donuts adventure, things got a little exciting...

My best friend Zack had created a 'fort' for us. He had carved out a maze in the middle of a field of wheatgrass by flattening it out with a broom. In the center of the field was a small circle that we all used to hang out in.

One of the first nights we hung out in there, we decided to play a little beer pong. We set up a table that was literally a slab of wood. I think it was coors we were using, I don't really remember. But immediately initiatint the team selection process, Sean insisted he be on my team. Resulting in fear that Zack would scold me because he knew i thought Sean was adorable, I suggested we did college kids versus highschoolers.

How Zack and I lost, I have no clue, but it was embarassing.

After the game we were sitting aroung in a circle. We got into a discussion about Sean's diabetes, which i still don't know exactly what it is. I had asked, and Sean tells me he has a pump in the side of his thigh, so i asked what it did.

He walked over to me, and dropped trou, and showed me the pump. It's so great that it was dark out, because i'm sure my face was bright red. I turned and looked at Zack, because i didn't really know if i could handle seeing Sean in his underwear without melting... Zack immediately said "Sean, what the hell're'ya doing?" and he pulled his pants back up.

So we decided to go see the corn fields. Sean sprinted through the paths ahead of everybody, and under some magnetic force, i sprinted after him. We reached the corn, and it got awkward... I could swear that he knew i was starting to like him, but even though it was just the two of us, he stood close to me, like super close.

You know that little pull that your face gets toward someone you like, the typical movie moment where you move in to kiss or whatnot? yeah it happened... the magnetism, i mean. It was only a short moment, our heads moved closer, but it was interrupted by our other friends coming.

There was something about that night that keeps me from getting over Sean. I think it was the fact that it was very movie-like. I chased him through the fields under the moonlight and almost kissed... I shoulda.. Ugh.

Story Time

In a few posts, I'll attempt to explain the circumstances that have led me to be totally in love with this kid Sean. It's a very long story, so I'll break it up and feed it to you over time ;)

This past summer, I had a successful date with this small blonde kid Will. After the date he fell off the face of the planet. So I decided to take a little bike ride, to air out. I rode about 3 hours on a small bmx bike with a semi-flat tire. I was so exhausted, my sweet tooth decided to call for Dunkin' Donuts.

It all began when I got in that line. You know when you see the back of someone's head, and you immediately think "this person can be attractive"? Well i did that. I was standing behind this guy that was approximately 6'1'', short brown hair, decently-shaped, average body. Normally, I'd look at my phone, because I don't approve of staring at people I don't know, but the most peculiar thing happened.

He glanced at me, then looked back ahead. I realised he was even more cute than i thought he would be. Then he double-took, and my immediate thought was "oh noes, did he catch me staring..." But then he spoke and I almost melted.

He asked, "Is your last name [insert last name here]?" I nodded. He replied "I'm Sean [insert last name here], Zack's friend." I had heard the name before, and we shook hands. We exchanged small talk and he got his drink and left. I got my Iced Caramel Latte and sat in the corner to giggle at what just happened.

I cycled back and immediately facebook friended him.

~A Typical Introduction ~

I can't plan what I'll be posting here, just a little warning. It's mostly for me to say what i can't say in real life. The best way to make friends is to introduce yourself (or get really, really sloshed) so i'll do just that.

People see me as just a typical guy. I look average - I'm 5'11'' tall, average build. I'm both German and Czech, with dirty blond hair and blue eyes. I have a semi-nasally voice, and i dress in mostly shorts and T-shirts. I party on Friday nights (WOO!) and sleep until 3pm the following day. I'm a full-time student at an art school. I play Division 3 tennis, and I run every once in a while.  Yup, pretty average.

But there are things that you can't read off of this cover:

I'm gay, but you can't tell. Some people claim they can see it, but it's probably because they heard me talking about watching Sex and the City (guilty) or about me being head over heels for someone (sighhh).

I'm a musician. Not like the "oh i came up with a really cool chord progression today" type of musician, more like the "I live and breath Romatic melodies" musician. I'm a traditional music composition major, who has has played piano for 12 years, and I love it.

I'm surprisingly athletic. Yeah. I even surprise myself.

I'm super nice. I get walked over all the time, but it's just because I like people to be happy. I may look stand-offish, but it's usually because I'm in music-mode. It happens a lot.

I'm a romantic guy.

I love to make witty jokes. No racist ones or ones about blondes (unless I can't resist, or it's about asian musicians haha).

So I don't really know what I'll be posting, but I'm sure to talk about all of these things at some point. i hope you subscribe, I really want to be friends :)
